I was up on my Early Morning Work Grind listening to the Star and Bucwild Show. I heard him speak on Shyne saying that Shyne said "Lil Wayne was false Flaggin" as a listener to music, and different things I wanted to hear the Interview for myself. Lil Wayne Speaks on His kids, Speaks on living a sober life with no drinking, no smoking. Talks about retiring at 35, and how he wants Drake and Nicki to surpass his success. Over all I think this was a good interview, its different hearing Wayne w/o the slur, but he was very honest about babymamas, and different situations. Check out the Interview Below

Hip Hop Album Sales for this week

R&B/Pop took over the charts this week. Jive Records superstar Chris Brown's F.A.M.E. entered at #1. The work features emcees such as Ludacris, Lil Wayne and Young Money's Tyga. Brown beat out #2, Jennifer Hudson, by over 100,000 units sold.

Bobby V (f/k/a Bobby Valentino), a onetime member of Ludacris' DTP Records, released his Fly On The Wall album. The EMI Records-backed project features G-Unit's 50 Cent and Lloyd Banks, as well as another EMI Hip Hop label-mate in Twista.

Lupe Fiasco still held a Top 10 position. The Chicago, Illinois emcee may have had his share of disagreements with Atlantic Records over the content and direction of his third album, Lasers, however the work is fast approaching 300,000 units sold. Lupe's album features label-mate Trey Songz and longtime 1st & 15th singer Sarah Green.

For the first week, Floetry alum Marsha Ambrosious' long-delayed solo debut slipped out of Top 10 rankings. The songstress is widely known in Hip Hop for her tenure as an artist at Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment, as well as her feature work with Game, Slum Village and Busta Rhymes. Meanwhile, staying comfortably at #17 for another week, Rihanna's Loud pushes well past platinum.

Gucci Mane's latest retail mixtape, The Return of Mr. Zone 6 scored a Top 20 debut. Selling 25,000 units, the Warner Brothers/Asylum Records-backed project features appearances by '90s superstar Master P, as well as Wale, Waka Flocka Flame and Birdman.

Kanye West's acclaimed My Beautiful Twisted Dark Fantasy fell 15 spots to #50. A spot below was Lil Wayne with I Am Not A Human Being, which continues to march towards a platinum plaque.

Queens, New York emcee Pharaohe Monch's first album since 2007, W.A.R. (We Are Renegades) very nearly scored a Top 50 debut. This is Monch's first album in conjunction with the legendary Duck Down Records imprint, and features production from longtime collaborator Diamond D, Exile and D12's Mr. Porter. The independent release sold just under 10,000 first-week units.

Chef Raekwon fell to #83 with Shaolin Vs. Wu-Tang, a concept in development since 2007, sold 6,500 third week units, on its way to 50,000 overall. Released on his own IceH20 imprint, and distributed through EMI, the Wu-Tang Clan member's fifth solo work features Jim Jones, Black Thought and a reunion with Nas. Producers include Evidence, Oh No and legendary House deejay Kenny Dope.

Remembering Freaky Tah From the Lost Boyz

Over the years it seems that Senseless violence has become way to familiar in Hip Hop. Just recently we lost Dj Megatron to a "Random" act of violence. Its starting to seem like every month we have a remembrance for one of our fallen brothers. Today we would like to shine light on Lost Boyz Member Freaky Tah. Some would say he didn't rap, he was just a hype man, but if you don't understand what a good hype man does, then 9 times out of 10 You don't understand Hip Hop. Freaky Tah's adlibs, and antics on stage definitely were one of the best next to Flava Flav, Spliff Star, and of course the great Eddie Cheeba. Take some time check out the video below. Raymond Rogers (May 14, 1971 – March 28, 1999), better known as Freaky Tah, was an MC, hype man and promoter. Freaky Tah was a member of a hip hop group called the Lost Boyz, together with Mr. Cheeks, DJ Spigg Nice and Pretty Lou.

On the night of March 28, 1999, at fellow Lost Boyz member Mr Cheeks' 28th birthday party, Freaky Tah was shot in the back of his head while he was going towards the exit of Sheraton Hotel. He was pronounced dead at about 4:20 AM, after being rushed to nearby Jamaica Hospital.The getaway driver, Raheem Fletcher, was sentenced to 7 years in prison. It was also revealed that a man named Kelvin Jones was the killer. Jones pleaded guilty to murder. Freaky Tah was 27 years old at the time of his death

Backpackrap Throwback: Goodie Mob - Black Ice

Goodie Mob is a hip hop act based in Atlanta, Georgia that formed in 1991 and currently consists of members Cee-Lo Green, Khujo, T-Mo and Big Gipp.
The group's name acts as a double backronym. As explained on the track "Fighting" on Soul Food, Goodie Mob means "the GOOD DIE Mostly Over Bullshit".
All four members were born in Atlanta, and the group is based there with the rest of the Dungeon Family, a collective which includes OutKast and P.A. (Parental Advisory). Goodie was first heard featured on several songs from OutKast's first album Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik.

Cee-Lo was the most visible member of the group prior to his departure in 2000 (among other projects, he is now recording in collaboration with DJ Danger Mouse as Gnarls Barkley), while Big Gipp has made several rounds on other Dungeon Family members' albums, and T-Mo and Khujo form a duo within the group called The Lumberjacks.
