In The Newest Craze of Breaking News Lil Wayne Tweeted Today That The Long Awaited "Carter IV" will be Released on May 24th




According to reports, the album will feature guest production by Detail, Swizz Beatz, Boi-1da and T-Minus, while guests like Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross and Drake have been tapped to make guest appearances.

"It's great man, he ain't lost a beat," Slim Williams told AllHipHop.com. "Wayne is gonna be Wayne. He does this and that's that gift from God. He's a very smart guy. He know what he has to do."

Lil Wayne recently debuted "6 Foot 7 Foot," the first video from Tha Carter IV.

UGK (short for Underground Kingz) was an American hip hop duo from Port Arthur, Texas formed in 1987 by the late Chad "Pimp C" Butler . He then joined with Bernard "Bun B" Freeman, who became his longtime partner. They released their first major label album, Too Hard to Swallow, in 1992, followed by several other albums charting on the Billboard 200 and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts, including the self-titled Underground Kingz album which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 in August 2007. The group has also been featured on hit singles by other artists, such as on "Big Pimpin'" by Jay-Z and "Sippin' on Some Syrup" by Three 6 Mafia. On December 4, 2007, Pimp C was found dead in a West Hollywood, California hotel room. Pimp C also founded UGK Records in late 2005.

The Year is 1994, The year of Big Boots with More holes then Shoelace length, Visors, S - Curls and Jeeps. We were just young folks here at Backpackrap but anybody who remembers Video Soul, and Rap City Remembers this Track! Here is a little Info on Ill All Skratch:

The duo's first appearance on record was their 1994 single named "Where My Homiez? (Come Around My Way)." This song failed to reach the Billboard Hot 100, but charted on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks and was an underground hit. Ill Al Skratch soon released a follow-up single named "I'll Take Her." This song featured R&B musician Brian McKnight and reached #62 on the Billboard Hot 100. Soon after releasing their first two singles, they released Creep Wit' Me to minor critical acclaim. It also managed to reach the Billboard 200 and spawned a third single, "Chill With That."

Ill Al Skratch collaborated with various artists including Michael Jackson, Gina Thompson and Shaquille O'Neal from 1995 to 1996. Their works also appeared on the soundtracks of movies including New Jersey Drive and Panther. In 1997, they released Keep It Movin', an album that received little commercial success and critical attention. They have not recorded any music since their 1997 album, but their songs have appeared on compilations including 1998's Hip Hop with R&B Flava.

Lupe Describes Being a Hostage on Atlantic Records

Lupe Fiasco struggled to release his third album on Atlantic Records. It took over three years and picketing from fans before Lupe followed up his gold-selling The Cool. Despite platinum singles, gold plaques and Grammy Awards, the Chicago native said his budget was cut and he was stiffled creatively.

"I was specifically told" -- Fiasco chuckled -- "'Don't rap too deep on this record.'" He laughed some more, telling the Chicago Sun-Times. "That was a specific order from the top. 'You're rapping too fast or too slow, or it's too complex.' ... There are consequences and combat that comes from that process and the eventual compromise. With me, though, I'm not writing about someone else. I'm writing about me. This is my life. It's very personal for me. So for somebody to kind of put their fingers in that and play with that, it becomes more damaging."

"I am a hostage," Fiasco continued. "I gave them what they wanted. If I didn't, at the end of the day the album wasn't coming out." The potentially good news for fans is that Lupe was busy recording his next album The Great American Rap Album while he was working on Lasers. He hopes to have that out before the end of 2011.

The Album Lasers has leaked and so far the People say they dont like this effort from Lupe, they think its commercialized and over all just not a good project, Hopefully This next album will give Lupe a better run
